Allows for ignition timing adjustment of ±3° for SR400/500.
3° Retard: Strengthens the pulse feel at low RPMs and stabilizes idling. Provides a smoother, more tenacious riding feel across the entire range.
+3° Advance: Increases power and improves response across the entire range. Results in a more sprightly riding feel.

● Reduced weight from approximately 320g (stock) to 288g
* For high-compression engines, retarding the timing can help prevent knocking.
* Ignition timing varies by model year.
* For FI models ('10~), installation is possible, but since the stock ignition timing is significantly advanced at approximately 38 degrees BTDC, further advancing it with the base plate will not improve performance.
* Changing the ignition timing may require fuel mixture adjustments.
