[Daytona 95431 Drive V-belt (VSE92+KEV) Reinforced Type for Address V100]
The Daytona reinforced V-belt was developed to handle the increased power and high tuning of sport scooters.
The lower rubber is a double-layered structure consisting of standard rubber and highly elastic heat-resistant compounded rubber, instead of the usual standard single-layered rubber, resulting in a high-grade finish that reduces belt slippage.
The core wires are 100% aramid fiber (though some products use other core wire materials). Furthermore, aramid fiber is blended into both the upper and lower rubber, improving the lateral pressure rigidity, tensile strength, and slip resistance required of a V-belt.
The blending ratio of each material is optimally chosen to match the engine characteristics of each manufacturer's vehicle.
The belt length is set and quality-controlled to achieve the same reduction ratio as the original when set on the pulley, so as not to adversely affect slippage, starting acceleration, or top speed.
●As a result of testing, some products that showed performance with materials other than aramid core wires use other core wire materials + different highly elastic rubber.
