Provides better insulation than asbestos. Heat resistant temperature: 350℃ (aluminum part is heat resistant to 200℃) Used by wrapping around the exhaust pipe of a 2-stroke chamber. In racers, exhaust synchronization occurs at high levels, increasing the maximum RPM. Also, as a noise countermeasure, wrapping the entire chamber or a part of it can be expected to reduce noise.
