＜Adoption of a new tread pattern＞
By optimizing the groove arrangement through wear simulation, we have achieved a longer lifespan. For the front tire, thick and long lateral grooves extending from the center to the shoulder, along with a center groove, efficiently drain water to improve wet performance. Additionally, the placement of flex sipes optimizes tread rigidity, improving road contact feel during cornering.
＜Adoption of silica compound＞
This is Dunlop's first scooter tire to feature a silica compound. The fine silica particles conform to minor road irregularities, improving wet braking performance. This also contributes to a longer lifespan.
Achieves handling that reduces fatigue even on tours
By adopting a single R profile with a uniform radius of curvature across the tread cross-section, changes in the contact patch shape are suppressed even when the vehicle's bank angle changes, achieving smooth cornering characteristics. For the rear tire, optimizing the front and rear roll balance results in straightforward handling.
Achieves a comfortable ride
By adopting a softer sidewall-specific compound than the tread, the deflection of the side part is optimized, improving ride comfort, especially during cornering. Furthermore, the use of a strong yet flexible polyester carcass achieves smooth handling.
