[ATLAS VC1-01-020 Protector Brace Vision Black/Black L/XL (Chest: 100-114cm) Shoulder Sternum Lightweight Motocross Off-Road Dirt Freak]
This is not a neck brace!
A new suggestion for all riders who felt bothered by neck braces.
Introducing the new neck collar "VISION" focused solely on reducing pressure on the cervical spine.
Over 15 years after the birth of neck braces, ATLAS began developing a new protector to redefine the concept of neck braces, aiming to solve the problem of limited head mobility when wearing them.
The newly launched "VISION" is a thin and lightweight neck collar focused solely on reducing pressure on the cervical spine.
VISION is designed to reduce compressive forces on the cervical spine and excessive lateral hyperflexion by resting only on the shoulders.
By eliminating the front and rear "support" of traditional neck braces, the range of motion has been increased by up to 66%, and the weight has been successfully reduced by approximately 35% (compared to ATLAS "AIR").
The minimalist design, with limited protection features, achieves a lighter weight and excellent range of motion, adapting to various riding styles.
This is a new answer for riders who felt bothered by neck braces.
Accessories: Hybrid Strap / Replacement Shoulder Pads (Tall) / Warranty Card
◆ Approximately 35% lighter (ATLAS "AIR" vs. "VISION" S/M size comparison) You will no longer feel the weight you once associated with neck braces. Weight: S/M: 373g L/XL: 395g
◆ Thoughts from Enduro Rider Kenji Suzuki
I never wore neck braces because they felt restrictive, but with this new model, I barely felt like I was wearing it and could ride comfortably. I tested it this time in the hard CGC race, and even on steep uphill and downhill sections, it didn't interfere with my helmet. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who disliked neck braces until now.
◆ Thoughts from Enduro Rider Tadashi Kugimura
I only wore a neck brace once when I was actively racing motocross, but it was heavy and restricted my head movement, so I stopped using it after about three times. My impression of wearing it is that the lightness was the most impressive thing! Also, it didn't interfere with my helmet as much as I expected, which was nice. And it felt more stable when riding with the strap on! It takes some getting used to the strap's tension and putting it on and taking it off, but overall, it made a very good impression!
