【ATLAS VC1-07-020 Protector Brace Vision Gray/Orange L/XL (Chest: 100-114cm) Shoulder Sternum Lightweight Motocross Off-road Dirt Freak】
This is not a neck brace!
A new proposal for all riders who felt annoyed by neck braces.
Introducing the new neck collar "VISION" which focuses solely on reducing pressure on the cervical spine.
More than 15 years after the birth of the neck brace, ATLAS embarked on the development of a new protector to rewrite the conventional wisdom of neck braces, aiming to resolve the problem of restricted head movement when worn.
The newly created "VISION" is a thin and lightweight neck collar that focuses solely on reducing pressure on the cervical spine.
The "VISION" is designed to reduce pressure on the cervical spine and excessive lateral hyperflexion by being comprised solely of a shoulder-mounted structure.
By removing the front and rear "supports" of conventional neck braces, the range of motion has been increased by up to 66%, and the weight has been successfully reduced by approximately 35% (compared to ATLAS "AIR").
Its minimalist design, with limited protective functions, achieves lightweight and excellent range of motion, adapting to various riding styles.
It offers a new solution for riders who felt annoyed by neck braces.
Accessories: Hybrid Strap / Replacement Shoulder Pads (Tall) / Warranty Card
◆ Approximately 35% lighter (ATLAS "AIR" vs. "VISION" S/M size comparison). You will no longer feel the weight you felt with neck braces. Weight: S/M: 373g L/XL: 395g
◆ Kenji Suzuki, Enduro Rider's Impression
I didn't wear neck braces because they were restrictive, but this new model felt like I wasn't wearing anything and I could ride comfortably. I tried it on the hard course of CGC this time, and I could ride even on steep uphill and downhill sections without my helmet hitting it. I can recommend this to anyone who has disliked neck braces until now.
◆ Tadashi Kugimura, Enduro Rider's Impression
I wore a neck brace only once when I was an active motocross rider, but it was heavy and didn't allow much head freedom, so I wore it about three times and then stopped using it. My first impression of wearing it was how light it was! Also, it didn't interfere with my helmet as much as I expected, which was nice. It also felt more stable when riding with the strap on! There are some areas that require getting used to, such as the strap strength and putting it on and taking it off, but overall, it's very positive!
Color: Gray/Orange
Size: L/XL (Chest: 100-114cm)
