【Gaerne Floating System】
Gaerne's innovative system balances safety and operability. The "center wishbone frame," which is the core of this system, is floated from the boot, allowing for natural movement in the direction of operation. In the event of an accident, the high-rigidity carbon composite frame restricts movement, protecting the ankle from strong lateral, torsional, and rearward impacts.
【BOA Closure System】
The GP-1 EVO uses the "BOA Closure System." "BOA" is an innovative system that allows you to quickly and uniformly adjust the boot by winding a wire by turning a dial. It provides a natural fit and allows for fine adjustments. The dial can be released with a single touch, allowing for quick loosening.
【Rubber Guard】
Rubber grip guards are attached to the calf and heel areas that come into contact with the machine. This enhances the sense of unity with the machine and protects the foot from the heat generated by the machine.
【Sliders】
Magnesium sliders with low friction resistance are placed on the toe and heel sections. Additionally, plastic sliders are attached to the upper part of the front shin plate, which comes into contact with the road surface during deep leans. A newly designed Gaerne original sole combining rubbers of different compounds and featuring a functional pattern. It accurately transmits the machine's behavior, and its high grip allows you to concentrate on riding with peace of mind even on rainy days. The arch support area, where the foot rests on the step, extends up the side of the boot, accommodating various footwork.
