This BDL 2-inch "Shorty" belt drive kit is a high-quality kit from the long-established belt drive manufacturer, allowing the use of an electric starter. It's recommended for those who find kick-only starting unreliable. It is compatible with 1970-78 Shovelhead models with ratchet-top transmissions. The kit also includes a BDL ball bearing lock-up clutch assembly. *The stock starter cannot be used.
