This product is a set of ignition-related products tailored to your vehicle, centered around Twin Tec's 8-pin module for EVOLUTION. Compatible with late 1995 to 1998 Touring models, 1995 to 1999 Softail models, and 1995 to 1998 Dyna models that use an 8-pin module. Up until the Evolution, simultaneous ignition was the standard, but by converting to independent ignition, the exhaust note becomes sharper and the idling sound changes. By replacing the plugs, wires, and coils, this set restores the powerful torque feel characteristic of the Evolution. Manufacturers also recommend independent ignition due to reasons such as reduced backfiring at low RPMs and improved output at high RPMs. The MODE SELECT dial allows you to set either simultaneous or independent ignition.
