This product is a set of ignition-related products tailored to the vehicle, centered on Twin Tec's EVOLUTION 8-pin module. Compatible with late 1995 to 1998 Touring models, 1995 to 1999 Softail models, and 1995 to 1998 Dyna models that use an 8-pin coupler module. Up to Evolution models, the stock ignition is a dual-fire system, but by converting it to independent ignition, the exhaust sound becomes sharper and the idling sound changes. By replacing the plugs, wires, and coils as a set, the powerful torque feeling characteristic of Evolution is revived. The manufacturer also recommends independent ignition for reasons such as reduced backfiring at low RPMs and improved output at high RPMs. The MODE SELECT dial allows you to set either dual-fire or independent ignition.
