This product is a set of ignition-related products tailored to your vehicle, centered around Twin Tec's EVOLUTION 8-pin module. Compatible with Touring models from late 1995 to 1998, Softail models from 1995 to 1999, and Dyna models from 1995 to 1998, provided the vehicle uses an 8-pin coupler for the module. Up to the Evolution model, simultaneous ignition was the standard specification, but converting this to independent ignition results in a crisper exhaust sound and a change in the idling atmosphere. By also changing the plugs, wires, and coil, this set restores the powerful torque feeling characteristic of the Evolution. The manufacturer also recommends independent ignition due to reasons such as reduced backfires at low RPMs and improved output at high RPMs. The MODE SELECT dial allows you to set either simultaneous or independent ignition.
