This is an independent ignition conversion kit for Sportster.
Fits 1998-2003 Sportster XL883,
1200 (excluding XL1200S).
Kit includes: Twin Tec 1005S x 1
Independent ignition 3Ω coil x 1
Taylor spark plug wires x 1 SET
Champion spark plugs x 2
The spark plug wires are universal, so the length can be adjusted. Even if the coil is relocated,
if the distance to the spark plugs is within 60cm, they can be routed neatly.
*Crimping the coil side terminals is required.
Convert to independent ignition and enjoy the crisp idling and powerful
mid-to-high speed riding.
The MAP can be set to match engine usage by combining switches.
*The contents of this set cannot be changed.
*Installation requires wiring work and ignition timing adjustment, so
please follow the service manual or request a professional shop to perform the work.
