The Mikuni HSR42 Easy Kit is a direct-action carburetor specifically designed for Harleys.
You'll feel a sharp acceleration across the entire range, from low to high speeds.
Since it uses the stock manifold, it's a high-performance carburetor that offers excellent cost-effectiveness.
For 1994-06 XL1200 & Buell models, the stock air cleaner kit cannot be used.
We recommend using an air cleaner kit with good intake efficiency, such as S&S.
This is one of our recommended carburetors.
Installation on 883 models is not recommended as the bore is too large.
For vehicles up to 1993 with stock small Sportster tanks that have the fuel petcock on the right side,
the HSR carburetor cannot be installed because it will interfere with the petcock.
