This is an injector tuning bolt.
Commonly known as the "magic screw."
It's a seemingly mysterious part that, by simply replacing an existing screw, can lead to effects like smoother acceleration and improved fuel efficiency. Its role is to "remove static electricity."
The spiked tip of the screw discharges static electricity, allowing the air-fuel mixture to flow more smoothly from the injector to the engine, which reportedly increases combustion efficiency.
While effective for carbureted vehicles, the effect tends to be more pronounced in fuel-injected vehicles.
The effect can vary depending on the installation position for different vehicle models, so please experiment with various methods.
For tightening, use a hex wrench to tighten the screw body itself, not the outer nut.
Screw size M4-P0.7, length approx. 25mm. Includes a 10mm spacer and one washer.
