This is an idle adjust screw version of the injector tuning bolt.
The injector tuning bolt is commonly known as the "magic screw" and, at first glance, seems like a mysterious part that can achieve effects such as smoother acceleration and improved fuel efficiency simply by replacing an existing screw. However, its role is to "remove static electricity."
The jagged tip of the screw discharges static electricity, allowing the air-fuel mixture to flow smoothly from the injector to the engine, thereby improving combustion efficiency.
This is used by replacing the idle screw on Mikuni HSR42/45 carburetors.
*Cannot be used on Sportsters up to 2003 due to interference with the engine.
