This is an idle adjust screw version of the injector tuning bolt.
The injector tuning bolt, commonly known as the "magic screw," is a seemingly mysterious part that, by simply replacing an existing screw, can provide benefits such as smoother acceleration and improved fuel efficiency. Its role is to "remove static electricity."
The spiky tip of the screw discharges static electricity, allowing the air-fuel mixture to flow smoothly from the injector to the engine, thereby improving combustion efficiency.
This is used as a replacement for the idle screw on S&S "E" carburetors.
