This is an idle adjust screw version of the injector tuning bolt.
The injector tuning bolt, also known as the "magic screw," is a seemingly mysterious part that, by simply replacing an existing screw, can provide benefits such as smoother acceleration and improved fuel economy. Its role is to "remove static electricity."
The spiky tip of the screw discharges static electricity, allowing the air-fuel mixture to flow smoothly from the injector to the engine, thereby improving combustion efficiency.
This part replaces the idle screw on Keihin butterfly carburetors from 1980 onwards.
