■Product Description Metaform Gasket for '36-'64 OEM Oil Tank Dipstick. This is a Reverb original metaform gasket for oil tank dipsticks. Manufacturing is handled by Kishida Seimitsu in Osaka, a well-known company for carburetor parts. We created this metaform gasket to stop oil seepage from the dipstick area, which is a common problem with JAMES copper-type gaskets. The OEM dipsticks from the 1930s have a slightly larger cap side compared to the 1940s. However, this gasket prevents oil leaks by creating a seal on the surface, so there are no issues with its use. For the 1940s, it can be used as a perfect fit. Manufacturer's Notes: *The inner diameter for OEM parts is 1-1/4 inches = 31.7 mm. *Aftermarket products such as V-TWIN and W&W have an inner diameter of 32 mm, so they cannot be used due to the different inner diameter.
