■Product Description This is an 8-inch longer inner tube than the stock front fork used on XL and FX models from 1957 to 1972. For about the past 10 years, only stock-length 33.4mm inner tubes have been available, and if you wanted a long fork, the only option was a period-correct part. We commissioned a company in Japan that manufactures inner tubes for the restoration of old Kawasaki motorcycles to design and consider materials, and then produced them at an overseas factory. The material is STKM13C (seamless) carbon steel pipe for mechanical structures. Aftermarket trees are designed to fit aftermarket 33.4mm tubes, so they can be used as is. Specifications Size: +8 inches Overall length: 780mm (22.75 inches stock length + 8 inches) ■Compatible Models XL 1957-1972 FX 1971-1972 K 1954-1956 Notes on Images *The frame in the installation image is a replica frame, so the neck angle is 30 degrees. Precautions *Installation must be performed by a motorcycle repair shop. Since stock springs will not be long enough for the 8-inch extension, please use PVC pipe or similar to assemble it yourself. *When installing on a genuine triple tree, the inner diameter of the insertion part is smaller because genuine inner tubes were not chrome-plated, so honing of the triple tree side is required. *If the vehicle is raised, the stock kickstand will not be long enough, so ingenuity such as bending the kickstand is required. Please consult with the shop you intend to have perform the installation before purchasing the inner tube. There are currently no ready-made kickstands for long forks.
