■Product Description
This is an upsweep exhaust, a classic style for choppers.
Since U.S.-made Paughco products have become so expensive, we took the plunge and created our own original exhaust in Japan!
It can be installed on rigid frame vehicles with 1966-84 Shovelhead engines.
The bend angles are basically the same as those of Paughco (part number 29-0090).
For Paughco products, if you have an aftermarket replica rigid frame, the front pipe mounting stay in front of the brake cross shaft will interfere significantly. Guts Chrome's exhaust, however, is designed to require no modification.
Other than that, it is almost identical in construction to Paughco products.
The exhaust pipe diameter is 45mm, same as stock.
Chrome plated finish
Although Paughco's catalog states it's for 1966-69 Early Shovelheads, the front pipe has a two-piece structure to clear the generator case.
It can be used without any problems on 1970-84 engines.
