■Product Description In 1955, as the PANHEAD was transitioning from FL to FLH, a new cable wrap was added to Harley's optional parts. The new product from 1955 differed from the bulky type of the Knuckle era, featuring a flat shape with a white center section. Cable coils (cable wraps) are a very easy and recommended item for dressing up drum cables, spark plug wires, etc., on vintage Harleys and custom vehicles. However, the original Harley genuine cable wraps from that time are now scarce, and even if they appear on E-Bay, they are extremely expensive, costing over $200, and are now virtually impossible to find. While chrome-plated replicas are still available from VTWIN, the two-color type with white in the center, which was originally sold as genuine, was almost impossible to obtain. For many years, we had hoped to reproduce the HD optional cable wrap, and through word of mouth, we finally found a manufacturer capable of producing it, and have now successfully brought it to production! We started by obtaining a reproduction of the original parts list to accurately identify part numbers and color combinations. For actual production, we acquired original black/white scraps from that era to determine the color ratio. We have produced the dimensions slightly larger to be more convenient for modern cable systems.
