This is a fully machined generator cover.
The flywheel section is designed so that the cover can be removed, just like on 6V models.
A shift guide is integrated, which reduces the flex of the gear shaft during gear changes, improving shift feel and enabling crisp gear shifts.
Needle bearings are used in the guide section.
A dust seal is standard equipment to prevent the intrusion of dust and other debris.
Can be installed on Honda horizontal engines (however, JAZZ, Magna, and other horizontal engines with electric starters are not compatible).
Surface treatment: Silver alumite finish
Material: A2017 material
Precautions
*When installing on a 6V model, one bolt at the bottom right of the cover cannot be secured.
*Depending on the model year, the shift pedal and generator cover may interfere with each other. In that case, please use a shift pedal for 12V Monkey.
*FI (fuel injection) Monkey models cannot be installed due to the different shape of their generator cover.
