The collar has a flange at the end, designed to hook onto the lip of the dust seal.
This prevents the collar from coming off easily and improves maintainability.
The rear collar's outer diameter at the swingarm contact surface has been increased to spread the surface pressure and enhance the rigidity of the rear section.
