Usage Precautions

• About Choosing the Right Size
  Try on the helmet and move your head forward, backward, left, and right. The correct size is one that does not easily shift or rotate. A helmet that doesn't fit properly cannot provide adequate safety performance.
• About Wearing the Chin Strap
  If the chin strap is loose, it may shift due to wind pressure or vibration while riding, or fall off in the event of a fall. For safety, secure the chin strap firmly.
• About Reusing a Helmet That Has Received an Impact
  Even if a helmet appears undamaged after a strong impact, the internal impact-absorbing material may have deteriorated. It is extremely dangerous as it cannot absorb impact again, so do not reuse a helmet that has received an impact.
• About Helmet Modification
  Modifications can impair the original performance, so absolutely do not modify the helmet.
  ・Do not replace or alter the chin strap fastener.
  ・Drilling holes in the shell or shaving the impact-absorbing liner is prohibited.
  ・Do not remove rolled rubber or similar parts.
• About Repainting
  The chemicals and heat from paint may alter the shell or impact-absorbing liner, potentially reducing safety performance. Do not repaint the helmet.

Care, Storage, and Other Information

• About Care
  Wipe gently with a soft cloth dampened with diluted neutral detergent.
  Do not use solvents such as gasoline, thinner, benzine, or glass cleaners, as they can damage the material.
• About Using the Sunshade
  Using a sunshade at night or in dark places can impair visibility and be dangerous. Use appropriately depending on the situation.
• About the Openable Chin Guard
  Riding with the chin guard raised can be dangerous as it may suddenly close due to vibration or wind pressure. Always use with the chin guard locked while riding.
• About Handling
  Performance may deteriorate due to drops or impacts, so handle with care. Avoid using the helmet as a seat.
• About Storage
  Avoid storing the helmet in direct sunlight, inside a car, or near heating appliances (above 50℃). This can cause degradation and deterioration, reducing safety performance.
• About Retightening Screws
  Screws may loosen due to opening and closing the shield or vibrations while riding. For safety, periodically retighten the screws.

About the Validity Period of Motorcycle Helmets

Even if not in use, the performance of a motorcycle helmet deteriorates over time.
The "SG Mark system" stipulates that the validity period is 3 years after purchase.

Even if there is no external damage, a helmet that has received a strong impact will have degraded internal impact-absorbing material and cannot provide sufficient protection. If an impact occurs, do not reuse the helmet and discard it.

About the SG Mark System

The SG Mark is a mark affixed to products that have been reviewed for safety and deemed compliant with standards by the Product Safety Association.
In the unlikely event of a personal injury caused by a product defect, the product liability system applies.

However, products whose performance has deteriorated past their validity period may not be covered by compensation.
