The inner wire is a 7x7 composite strand of stainless steel wire, swaged on the surface to create a smooth, low-stretch, high-tensile wire.
Additionally, a Teflon tube is used inside the spiral wire, resulting in a low coefficient of friction and enabling light and smooth lever operation.
Caution: Avoid installing or routing the cable at sharp angles, as this will not only make the lever operation heavy but can also cause the wire to break.
After installation, turn the handlebars all the way left and right to check that the cable is not pinched by the handlebar stopper or frame.
