The inner wire is a composite strand of 7x7 stainless steel wires, swaged on the surface to be smooth and have low stretch, making it a high-tensile strength wire.
In addition, a Teflon tube is used inside the spiral wire, resulting in a low coefficient of friction and light, smooth lever operation.
Caution: Avoid sharp bends or routing that causes the cable to be squeezed, as this will not only make the lever operation heavy but also lead to wire breakage.
After installation, turn the handlebars left and right to check that there are no parts pinched by the handlebar stopper or frame.
