The inner wire is made of 7x7 stranded stainless steel wire, swaged on the surface to create a smooth, low-stretch, high-tensile wire.
A Teflon tube is also used inside the spiral wire, resulting in a low coefficient of friction and light, smooth lever operation.
Caution: Avoid installation or routing that involves sharp bends, as this will not only make the lever operation heavy but also cause the wire to break.
After installation, turn the handlebars left and right to check for any areas where they might get pinched by the handlebar stopper or frame.
