The inner wire is a 7x7 braided stainless steel strand, swaged on the surface to be smooth and a high-tensile wire with minimal stretch.
Additionally, a Teflon tube is used inside the spiral wire, which reduces the coefficient of friction and allows for light and smooth lever operation.
Caution: Installing or routing the cable in sharp bends will not only make the lever operation heavier but also cause wire breakage. Please be careful.
After installation, turn the handlebars all the way left and right to check that no part of the cable is pinching against the handlebar stopper or frame.
