The inner wire is a 7x7 braided stainless steel wire, swaged on the surface to create a smooth, low-stretch, high-tensile wire.
In addition, a Teflon tube is used inside the spiral wire, resulting in a low coefficient of friction and light, smooth lever operation.
Note: Be aware that installation or routing that involves sharp bends will not only make the lever operation heavier but also cause wire breakage.
After installation, turn the handlebars left and right to check that there are no parts that pinch the handlebar stopper or frame.
