The inner wire is a 7x7 composite strand of stainless steel wire, swaged to create a smooth, low-stretch, high-tensile wire.
In addition, a Teflon tube is used inside the spiral wire, resulting in a low coefficient of friction and light, smooth lever operation.
Caution: Avoid installing or routing the cable at sharp angles, as this will not only make the lever operation heavier but also cause the wire to break.
After installation, turn the handlebars left and right to check for any parts that might be pinched between the handlebar stopper and the frame.
