The inner wire is a 7x7 braided stainless steel wire, swaged to be smooth and have minimal stretch, making it a high-tensile wire.
In addition, a Teflon tube is used inside the spiral wire, resulting in a low coefficient of friction and light, smooth lever operation.
Caution: Avoid installing or routing the cable at sharp angles, as this will not only make the lever operation heavier but also cause the wire to break.
After installation, turn the handlebars all the way left and right to check that no part of the cable is caught by the handlebar stopper or frame.
