The inner wire is a 7x7 composite strand of stainless steel wire, swaged on the surface to create a smooth, low-stretch, high-tensile wire.
In addition, a Teflon tube is used inside the spiral wire, resulting in a low coefficient of friction and light, smooth lever operation.
Caution: Avoid installing or routing the cable at sharp angles, as this will not only make the lever operation heavy but also cause wire breakage.
After installation, turn the handlebars left and right to check that no part is caught between the handlebar stopper or the frame.
