These are attachments for stands.
We refer to them as "L-receivers."
They support the swingarm from the bottom surface.
You can remove the rear wheel while the bike is on the stand.
They can be used with round-section swingarms like pipe swingarms, or "V-shaped" swingarm bikes, but stability will be slightly compromised.
