Additionally, a rubber band to secure the folded stand so it doesn't open accidentally is now standard equipment.
For recent sport-type vehicles, brake hoses, horns, etc., are located around the hole under the stem,
so it may be necessary to temporarily re-route or remove them, but once that is done, the stand can be used to lift the vehicle.
