・No scattering
Since it is woven with continuous compressed glass fibers (threads), glass fibers do not scatter during work.
Therefore, it is possible to work with bare hands without wearing a mask, gloves, or goggles. This makes it user-friendly.
・Excellent work efficiency
Acostafil comes in a sheet form, making it easy to wrap around a perforated pipe. Since the compressed glass fibers expand when heated, simply wrap it to a size that allows easy insertion into the silencer.
It is easy to handle as it only requires securing with masking tape on the outside.
・High durability
Conventional glass wool mats are aggregates of short glass fibers and scatter during handling or use. However, Acostafil is woven with continuous glass fibers, making it scatter-free and highly durable.
・High heat resistance
The heat resistance of conventional E-glass is 800℃ to 850℃. The adoption of newly developed ECR glass achieves a heat resistance of 870℃ to 900℃.
This temperature setting is currently not available from other manufacturers.
・Excellent sound-deadening effect
We use compressed glass (threads) made by bundling glass fibers and applying pressure to form threads. Since these threads are woven into a sheet, it is possible to increase the filling capacity, resulting in a higher sound-deadening effect than conventional products.
