・No scattering
Because it is woven with continuous compressed glass fibers (yarn), glass fibers do not scatter during work.
Therefore, it is possible to work with bare hands without wearing a mask, gloves, or goggles. This makes it user-friendly.
・Excellent work efficiency
Acoustafil comes in sheet form, making it easy to wrap around perforated pipes. Since compressed glass fibers expand when heat is applied, simply wrap it to a size that allows for easy insertion into the silencer.
It is easy to handle as it only needs to be secured with masking tape on the outside.
・High durability
Conventional glass wool mats are an aggregate of short glass fibers, which can scatter during handling or use. However, Acoustafil is woven with continuous glass fibers, preventing scattering and offering high durability.
・High heat resistance
The heat resistance of conventional E-glass is 800℃ to 850℃. With the adoption of newly developed ECR glass, heat resistance of 870℃ to 900℃ has been achieved.
This temperature setting is currently not available from other manufacturers.
・Excellent sound deadening effect
It uses compressed glass (yarn) made by bundling glass fibers and applying pressure to form a thread. Since these threads are woven into a sheet, it is possible to increase the filling capacity, resulting in a higher sound deadening effect than conventional products.

Estimated usage per sheet: When wrapped around a 54φ perforated pipe, it corresponds to a 120φ silencer; when wrapped around a 42.7φ perforated pipe, it corresponds to a 110φ silencer.
