This is a Stage6 crankshaft dummy bearing.
It is used for temporarily assembling the crankshaft and checking dimensions such as port timing.
The crankshaft is temporarily assembled using a plastic dummy bearing instead of a real bearing.
It is made of POM, which is characterized by good size accuracy, high strength and rigidity, and particularly low friction coefficient.
The body is marked with the Stage6 logo, bearing designation number, and bearing size.
It is used to check for piston skirt interference when installing a long crank, and to measure port timing, and then machine various engine parts accordingly.
Installation does not require pressing in; it can be inserted into the crankshaft/case and reused, making a set very convenient to have.
