This is a Stage6 crankshaft dummy bearing.
It is used for temporary assembly of the crankshaft to check port timing and various dimensions.
The crankshaft is temporarily assembled using a plastic dummy bearing instead of a real bearing.
It is made of POM, characterized by its excellent dimensional accuracy, high strength and rigidity, and especially low coefficient of friction.
The main body is marked with the Stage6 logo, bearing designation number, and bearing size.
It is used to check for piston skirt interference when installing a long crank, and to measure port timing, allowing for modification of various engine parts accordingly.
Installation does not require press-fitting; it can be inserted into the crankshaft/case and reused, making it very convenient to have a set.
