Honda 50cc 2-stroke vertical-type scooters have what are commonly known as "thin shaft" and "thick shaft" crankshafts.
Thin shaft crankshafts often break at the base, so thick shaft crankshaft engines are recommended for modifications.
Thin shaft and thick shaft crankshafts each require their own crankcases and oil seals, so they cannot be used interchangeably. However, this product makes it possible to install a thick shaft crankshaft into a thin shaft crankcase.
If using a thick shaft crankshaft, either the Dio/Dio SR/Dio XR type (narrow belt) or the ZX type (wide belt)
can be installed.
This is recommended for those who gave up on overhauling because they couldn't find a thin shaft crank,
or for those with a thin shaft engine who want to convert it to a ZX type!

*Compatibility with AF05E/AF12/AF24E has not been confirmed.
*Some vehicles use a paper gasket on the mating surface of the crankcase, while others use a liquid gasket. If a liquid gasket is used on a crankcase designed for a paper gasket, the crankcase will not close completely due to the different crankshaft width, and it will also damage the crankshaft. Absolutely do not do this.
*Always check which type of gasket is used and assemble with the same specifications.
*When converting to a thick shaft, many related parts need to be changed.
