Scooter clutches use centrifugal force, not transmitting power to the rear tire at low, powerless RPMs.
Instead, they transmit rotation once the RPMs have increased to a practical operating range, allowing the vehicle to start.
The lightweight reinforced clutch kit is a racing part that uses lightweight clutch shoes and a reinforced clutch spring to shift the clutch engagement timing to a higher RPM range (for 2-stroke engines, higher RPMs mean higher output), enabling sharp start dashes.
It is also effective when low-speed torque has decreased due to muffler replacement or similar modifications.
The reinforced clutch spring set is also compatible with normal clutches.
Do not use with aftermarket clutch outers.
Kitaco's lightweight reinforced clutch kit is designed for use with normal clutch outers. Do not use it in conjunction with aftermarket clutch outers.
No weight reduction has been applied.
