This air filter is recommended for normal carburetors.
As intake efficiency changes, carburetor settings will be required.
When riding in the rain, water may enter the filter, which can alter carburetor settings.
For exhaust gas regulated models from 2000 onwards: Exhaust gas regulated models use lean combustion, so settings may not be achievable. Therefore, installing power filters etc. is not recommended.
For F1 vehicles: For F1 vehicles, installing power filters or air funnels directly will disrupt fuel regulation, so please do not install them.
However, this excludes cases where a device for fuel regulation (e.g., injection controller, KITACO I-MAP) is installed and settings can be achieved.
If the filter aperture is a few millimeters smaller than the carburetor aperture of the vehicle, it may be a little tight when fitting, but it can be installed by pushing it in.
If a long rear shock is installed, the filter may interfere with the body.
This type is less affected by conditions.
With a hood, it effectively prevents not only dirt and dust but also rain.
It improves intake efficiency and increases power.
Pay attention to the installation angle. If the cover is installed upside down, water may accumulate inside the cover during rain, potentially obstructing air intake.
The dimensions are given as the length from the top of the filter to the bottom of the rubber pipe, with the filter standing vertically.
Carburetor settings are required upon installation.
