This air filter is recommended for normal carburetors.
Since the intake efficiency will change, carburetor settings are required.
When driving in the rain, water may enter the filter, and carburetor settings may change.
Regarding exhaust gas regulated models from the 2000 model year onwards: For exhaust gas regulated models, due to lean burn, settings may not be achievable, so installation of power filters etc. is not recommended.
Regarding F1 vehicles: For F1 vehicles, if power filters, air funnels, etc., are installed as they are, fuel adjustment will be disrupted, so do not install them.
However, this does not apply if a device capable of fuel adjustment (injection controller, Kitaco I-MAP) is installed and settings can be made.
If the filter bore is a few millimeters smaller than the carburetor bore of the vehicle, it may be a bit tight when fitting, but it can be installed by pushing it in.
If a long rear shock is installed, the filter may interfere with the body.
This type is less affected by conditions.
With a hood, it demonstrates excellent effects against dust and dirt, as well as rain.
Improves intake efficiency and increases power.
Pay attention to the installation angle. If the cover is installed upside down, water may accumulate inside the cover during rainfall, hindering intake.
The dimensions indicate the length from the top of the filter to the lowest part of the rubber pipe when the filter is standing vertically.
Carburetor settings are required during installation.
