This air filter is recommended for normal carburetors.
As intake efficiency changes, carburetor settings will be required.
When riding in the rain, water may enter the filter, which can change the carburetor settings.
Regarding exhaust gas regulation models from 2000 onwards: For exhaust gas regulation compliant models, due to lean combustion, settings may not be achievable, so the installation of power filters etc. is not recommended.
Regarding F1 vehicles: For F1 vehicles, do not install power filters or air funnels directly, as this will disrupt fuel regulation.
However, this does not apply if a device for fuel regulation (injection controller, Kitaco I-MAP) is installed and settings can be made.
If the filter diameter is a few millimeters smaller than the vehicle's carburetor diameter, it will be a little tight when fitting, but can be installed by pushing it in.
If a long rear shock is installed, the filter may interfere with the body.
This is a high-efficiency 2-layer filter with a coarse filter sponge on the outside and a fine filter sponge on the inside.
It is a self-cleaning filter that catches large debris and dust, and removes dirt and dust that adheres due to vibrations during riding.
