The timing for replacing sprockets is very ambiguous, with no clear standards.
"Wear on the tooth tips" is a key indicator for determining when to replace them.
If the tooth tips become pointed, or if the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
Replacing all three components at once: front and rear sprockets and chain. If you only replace one of these components, the unreplaced worn parts will prevent the new parts from performing at their full potential and durability, leading to an earlier replacement time. Therefore, in the long run, it is recommended to replace all three components simultaneously for longer life.
