There is no clear standard for when to replace a sprocket, making the timing very ambiguous.
One criterion for judgment is "wear on the tooth tips."
If the tooth tips become pointed, or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
Simultaneous replacement of all three: front and rear sprockets and chain. If you only replace one of them, the worn parts that haven't been replaced will prevent the new parts from performing at their original capacity and durability, leading to an earlier replacement time. Therefore, considering the long term, replacing all three simultaneously is recommended as it will last longer.
