When to replace a sprocket is very ambiguous, with no clear standard.
"Tooth wear" is the key indicator for replacement.
If the teeth have become pointed, or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time to replace them.
Replacing all three parts simultaneously: front and rear sprockets and chain. If you only replace one part, the worn unreplaced parts will prevent the new part from performing optimally and shorten its lifespan, ultimately leading to earlier replacement. Therefore, from a long-term perspective, it is recommended to replace all three parts simultaneously as they will last longer.

As a general guideline, inspect your sprocket every 1000km of normal driving.

The larger the reduction ratio (rear sprocket teeth ÷ front sprocket teeth), the more acceleration-oriented the vehicle; the smaller the ratio, the more top-speed-oriented it is.
