There are no clear standards for when to replace sprockets, making it a very ambiguous decision.
The primary factor for judgment is "tooth wear."
If the tooth tips become pointed, or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
When replacing sprockets, it's recommended to replace all three components simultaneously: front sprocket, rear sprocket, and chain.
