[KITACO 535-0077247 Drive Sprocket Rear 47T 428 size TZR50 TZ50 KITACO 535-0077247]
There are no clear criteria for when to replace a sprocket, making it a very ambiguous decision.
One factor to consider is the "wear on the teeth."
If the tips of the teeth become pointed, or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time to replace them.
Replacing the front sprocket, rear sprocket, and chain all at the same time: If you only replace one of these parts, the worn parts that haven't been replaced will prevent the new part from performing at its original level of performance and durability, leading to a shorter lifespan. Therefore, for long-term considerations, replacing all three parts simultaneously is recommended as it will last longer.
This is the rear (wheel side) sprocket.
To enable fine-tuned settings, we support tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing.
Made from high-tensile chromoly steel, boasting high durability.
Sprockets are consumable items.
As a general guideline for normal driving, please inspect your sprocket approximately every 1000km (regular lubrication will significantly extend the lifespan of your sprocket and chain).
The larger the value of the reduction ratio (rear sprocket tooth count ÷ front sprocket tooth count), the more acceleration-oriented it is; the smaller the value, the more top-speed-oriented it is.
Compatible models: TZR50R all models
TZR50 all models
TZ50 all models
