[KITACO 535-1036232 Driven Sprocket Rear 32T 420 Size NS50F NSR50 KITACO 535-1036232]
There is no clear standard for when to replace a sprocket, making it very ambiguous.
The determining factor is "tooth wear."
When the tips of the teeth become pointed, or the belly or sides of the teeth wear down, it's time for a replacement.
Simultaneous Replacement of Front and Rear Sprockets and Chain If you only replace one of the three components, the worn parts that haven't been replaced will cause the new parts to underperform and wear out faster than they should. Therefore, for long-term effectiveness, it is recommended to replace all three at the same time, as this will lead to a longer lifespan.
This is the rear (wheel side) sprocket.
We support tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing to enable precise settings.
Made from highly durable chromoly high-tensile steel.
Sprockets are consumables.
As a general guideline, inspect your sprocket approximately every 1000km of normal driving (daily lubrication significantly extends the life of sprockets and chains).
The larger the reduction ratio (rear sprocket tooth count ÷ front sprocket tooth count), the more acceleration-oriented the vehicle; the smaller the ratio, the more top speed-oriented.
