The timing for replacing a sprocket is ambiguous, as there are no clear criteria.
"Wear on the tooth tips" is one factor that can be used to make a judgment.
If the tooth tips become sharp, or the belly or sides are worn down, it's time for a replacement.
If you only replace one of the three parts (front sprocket, rear sprocket, and chain), the worn parts that haven't been replaced will prevent the new part from performing optimally and shorten its lifespan. Therefore, for long-term benefits, it is recommended to replace all three parts simultaneously as they will last longer.
This is the rear (wheel side) sprocket.
It supports tuners with a wide range of tooth counts and reasonable pricing to enable fine-tuned settings.
Made from high-strength chromoly steel, boasting high durability.
Sprockets are consumables.
As a general guideline, inspect your sprocket every 1000km of travel (regular lubrication significantly extends the life of both sprockets and chains).
The larger the reduction ratio (rear sprocket tooth count ÷ front sprocket tooth count), the more acceleration-oriented the setup; the smaller the ratio, the more top speed-oriented.
